About Us:

H.O.U.S.E. provides therapy and habilitation services to children with developmental disabilities.  We provide speech and feeding, occupational, physical, and music therapies, in addition to habilitation hourly and habilitation communication programs.  Our center offers a home environment with a full functioning kitchen, a living room, an indoor play area with soft gymnastics equipment, along with audio-visual-computer room, sensory room and train room.  We provide services at our center or in home.  We have an open environment, child-centered, child-let approach to our services.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates must have earned a bachelor's degree in music therapy and are credentialed by the Certification Board of Music Therapists. Completion of clinical training requirements by the American Music Therapy Association is required.  Knowledge of Drum Circle Facilitation is a plus.  CPR, First Aid, Fingerprint Clearance eligible.

 

Position Description:

Our therapists will work one-on-one or in small groups (max. 3) with our clients to facilitate the removal of barriers related to social interaction and independent functioning through music therapy.
