Job Title: Program Supervisor
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Based upon experience with benefits.
Qualifications: Must be a board-certified music therapist; prefer two years experience and bi-lingual (Spanish).
Populations: mostly children and teens in a shelter; some variety of populations (mental health, disabilities, medical) at our community-based clinic.
Starting date: Summer 2008
Description of position: Program Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and clinical supervision of interns and trained musicians, as well as planning, organizing, and implementing music therapy programs for 1:1 and groups, for individuals who have been abused, or challenged with disabilities, mental health problems or medical conditions. The right candidate will also have knowledge in advocacy, case management, development and coordination of clinical and behavioral interventions. Other duties include collaboration with interfacing of clients, off-site staff and programs; fundraising; etc.
