Thank you, to our WRAMTA members for voting two new elected positions to the Executive Board –
DEI Liaison, and Treasurer-Elect. We are very excited that these positions are now included in our regional leadership.
In an effort to streamline and support the roles of Treasurer and Treasurer-Elect we are holding a Special Election for the position of Treasurer-Elect in early October.
The person elected will fill the role of Treasurer-Elect from October 2022 – June 2023, learning from the incredible Kevin Budd all the ins, outs, whys, and wherefores of the position of Treasurer. At the membership meeting in June, Kevin will conclude his tenure as Treasurer and the Treasurer-Elect will transition into the role of Treasurer for the 2023-2025 term.
We will also be electing a Treasurer-Elect during our regular elections process. The person elected as Treasurer-Elect at the general elections will serve their tenure as Treasurer-Elect from June 2023-2025, transitioning to Treasurer for the 2025-2027 term.

The calendar for the Special Elections is as follows:
September 6th – 23rd – Accept nominations for Treasurer-Elect
September 23rd – Close nominations
September 23rd -October 3rd – Present nominees to the membership
October 3rd – Send out electronic vote
