This job opening is for a full time salaried IEP-based music therapist in sunny San Diego, California. The position runs for the duration of the school year with summers off for you to spend family time or to head out on a travel adventure.
Help our students shine and become a full member of the IEP team. We serve a diverse range of students at various sites within the San Diego Unified School District in grades PreK-12. Most of the services are provided in a group setting or through consultation with school staff.

Requirements:
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Music Therapy, MT-BC status (or taking exam within 3 months), reliable transportation, and must pass TB testing, submit record of COVID vaccine, and pass a background check if hired (paid for by Coast Music Therapy). Bonus points if you have NMT certification, experience with the IEP process, and savvy tech skills.
Position starts August 2024.
