Fall 2017 Technology Committee Report

The AMTA Technology Committee had the opportunity to present three concurrent sessions this year at our national conference in St. Louis. The committee presented two sessions on using technology within our clinical practice, one with a focus on software, and the other with a focus on hardware. Both were well received and gave participants opportunities for hands on experience by providing breakouts to explore and practice the new technology. The third concurrent session was a collaboration with the Ethics Board, presenting a round table discussion on the ethical use of technology within our clinical practice. Many wonderful questions were presented for a lively and thoughtful discussion that is very timely and important for our field.
